CP4

A Powerful 4-Series™ Control System

CP4

Overview

The CP4 is a secure, high-performance control processor equipped with a powerful 4-Series™ control engine. Designed for modern networked environments, it seamlessly integrates and automates technology in residential homes, commercial buildings, and government facilities.

4-Series Control Engine:

With an upgraded multicore CPU, the CP4 delivers enhanced speed and performance compared to previous Crestron 3-Series® control processors. Its dynamic capabilities enable it to manage the demands of advanced automated systems efficiently, offering a secure platform for controlling a variety of technologies.

Reliable Networking and IP Control:

The CP4 supports seamless integration with other systems and devices through reliable networking and IP control. Additional control capabilities are available via Crestron touch screens, wireless remotes, mobile device apps, and remote management through Crestron Fusion® software and the XiO Cloud® service.

Modular Programming Architecture:

Featuring a modular programming architecture, the CP4 allows for the simultaneous execution of up to ten independent programs. This enables programmers to develop and run device-specific programs, optimizing functionality and facilitating changes without affecting the entire system.

Onboard Control Ports:

The CP4 offers comprehensive connectivity options through a full complement of onboard control ports. These ports support integration with audio, video, lighting, HVAC, security systems, and more, providing flexibility and versatility in system design.

Crestron Fusion Room Monitoring and Scheduling:

Pair the CP4 with Crestron Fusion to enable remote scheduling, monitoring, and control of rooms and technology from a central platform. Crestron Fusion enhances energy management and productivity by automating control of AV, lighting, shades, and HVAC systems.

XiO Cloud Provisioning and Management:

Leverage XiO Cloud services to remotely provision, monitor, and manage CP4 devices across your network. XiO Cloud streamlines device deployment and management, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Enhanced Enterprise-Grade Security:

The CP4 is an enterprise-class control processor designed for deployment across multiple spaces. It employs standard network security protocols to ensure reliability and compliance with IT policies, offering enhanced security right out of the box.

SNMP V3 Support:

Built-in SNMP V3 support enables integration with third-party IT management software, allowing network administrators to manage and control Crestron systems in an IT-friendly format.

BACnet Support:

Native BACnet support1 simplifies integration with third-party building management systems, enabling seamless communication between systems.

Apple HomeKit Integration:

The CP4 supports integration with Apple HomeKit2 technology systems, allowing control of supported Apple devices using Crestron touch screens. Pairing with HomeKit is quick and easy via SIMPL programming.
