One Standard for Every Branch
A single specification covers screens, enclosures, speaker posts, headsets and timers, so every new site opens to the same customer experience and spare parts stay common.
DRIVE-THRU · QUICK SERVICE · FRANCHISE
Projection House designs, installs and supports drive-thru solutions for quick service restaurants, coffee shops and franchise brands across the UAE. We bring the whole lane together: digital menu boards, drive-thru intercom systems and headsets, timer systems, kitchen display systems and the network behind them, so every order travels cleanly from the speaker post to the pickup window.
Scroll to drive through the lane. The timer in the corner starts when you do.
01 / ARRIVAL
A drive-thru knows a customer is there before anyone speaks. A vehicle detection loop or sensor at the lane entry sends one signal, and everything else follows from it: the drive-thru timer starts, the pre-sell board can wake, and the crew hears that a car is on its way to the order point.
Getting that first signal right is the start of good drive-thru operations. We place detection where queues actually form, so the systems further down the lane act on real cars rather than guesses.

03 / ORDER
The order point carries most of the conversation in the lane. Drive-thru intercom systems at the speaker post pick up the customer's voice and keep engine and road noise out of it, so the order taker hears the order clearly the first time.
An order confirmation display shows each item as it is entered. Customers check the order before they reach the window, and mistakes are fixed at the post instead of at the pickup.

Wireless drive-thru headsets connect the order taker, the kitchen and the window to the same lane. Base stations, charging and channel plans are designed around your shifts and your number of lanes, so the crew can talk without leaving their stations.

04 / KITCHEN
Once an order is placed, it should reach the kitchen at once. Kitchen display systems put every order on the right screen at the right station, in the order it was taken, so the kitchen prepares the lane in sequence and the window knows what is coming next.
Clear screens replace paper tickets, bump bars mark items as ready, and the drive-thru and the counter work from one order queue instead of two. That is efficiency the whole crew can see.

05 / TIMER
Look at the timer in the corner. It started when you arrived at the top of this page and has recorded a time at every stop since. That is what a drive-thru timer does for every car in the lane.
Each vehicle is timed at arrival, at the menu, at the order point, at payment and at pickup. Managers see the lane live on a display above the window, and reports show where time is spent by daypart, by lane and by branch.
For a franchise, one store is never the whole picture. Timer data from every location can be brought into one view, so operators can see which sites meet the standard and where coaching or equipment will make a difference.

06 / PAY & PICKUP
The last metres of the lane decide how the visit is remembered. Payment points, window displays and the pickup window are planned together, so customers pay, collect and leave without waiting on a system that is still catching up.
Convenience is what brings customers back to a drive-thru. When the order is right and the handover is quick, customer satisfaction follows, and the lane is ready for the next car.

07 / THE WHOLE LANE
In many drive-thru systems, the menu boards, intercom, headsets, timers, kitchen displays, cameras and network all come from different suppliers. We design them as one system and install them as one project, with power, data and conduits planned before the first slab is poured.
That is what choosing the right technology partner means in a drive-thru: one team that understands every device in the lane, one point of contact during the build and one support line after opening.

08 / FRANCHISE
Franchise brands need the hundredth lane to work like the first. We turn your brand standards into a reference drive-thru design, prove it at a pilot site, then repeat it branch by branch with the same equipment, the same layouts and the same handover.
A single specification covers screens, enclosures, speaker posts, headsets and timers, so every new site opens to the same customer experience and spare parts stay common.
Menus, promotions and timer reports can be managed from one place across all branches, while each site keeps its own local schedule where it needs one.
Maintenance plans keep every lane in service, with preventive visits and a clear route for faults during trading hours.
09 / WHO IT IS FOR
Drive-thru services now reach well beyond burgers. Each format has its own pace, and each lane is designed around it.

Multi-lane layouts, pre-sell boards and kitchen displays built for high volume at peak hours.

Compact lanes, fast menu changes between morning and evening, and clear ordering for short, frequent visits.

Collection points and pickup lanes for retail and convenience stores, with the same screens, audio and timing used by restaurants.
10 / SITE SURVEY
Every lane starts with a survey. These are the requirements we check before anything is ordered.
11 / HOW WE DELIVER
We survey the site and agree the lane layout, the systems and the brand requirements.
Menu boards, audio, timers, kitchen displays and network are designed together, with drawings for every device.
Installation is sequenced with the fit-out so the lane is ready on opening day.
Every system is tested in the lane, and the crew is trained before the first customer arrives.
Maintenance and support keep the drive-thru running after opening.
12 / QUESTIONS
A typical lane combines vehicle detection, pre-sell and digital menu boards, a speaker post with an order confirmation display, crew headsets, a drive-thru timer, kitchen display systems, payment and pickup equipment, cameras and the network that connects them. We design and install them as one system.

We specify high-brightness displays and enclosures designed for outdoor use, and we position boards with the afternoon sun in mind, so the menu stays readable and the equipment stays within its operating range.
Yes. Menu content can be scheduled centrally for every branch, with dayparts and promotions set once and local changes allowed where a site needs them.
It records when each vehicle arrives and how long it spends at each point in the lane, from the menu and the order point to payment and pickup. Live displays show the lane as it runs, and reports compare dayparts, lanes and branches.
